Fractions
by Tejas Singh
Recorded live in New York City during May of 2007, this version of Fractions features James Lewis on electric guitar. Lewis plays on the EP A Brief History as well. This recording was made shortly after the song was written, before the lyrics for the second verse existed. In its place is a guitar solo. The song is characterized by its catchy chorus and memorable/tonally ambiguous chord progression, deceptively suggesting Eb major instead of the song's actual key of Bb major
