I wrote this song at the age of 19, towards the end of what ended up being a horrible 3 and a half year relationship. It offers a window into the chaotic confusion that can be (and often is) young love. The experience was brutal, but the song is about waking up and letting go of everything you've become with that person and becoming who you are on your own. Enjoy!
