There is nothing new about people faking their way to the top. Lately, however, I've noticed that it is the rule, rather than the exception. Today, the less you know, the higher you go. Challenge these delusional persons in power and you'll find yourself out on the sidewalk. The "straight edge" of this song is the line I MUST have between the real world and this false world. I keep a fine, straight edge between me and my delusions.
