In Which I Put On My Shoes

by Jadiid

This song took a lot of movement to both write and record. It was written in several places never really coming to rest till we took it to our basement studio and put it on tape. We added the banjo early in the process on a whim, and it set the tone for what the song became. There are also a lot of choral elements that come from my obsession with choirs

Portrait of Darowyn
This is an original. Banjo, acoustic guitar and sequenced synth lead into "a page from my diary" song with some very clever harmonic and production effects. It all gives a very open and atmospheric track. There is a wonderful use of dynamics, from a raw solo voice to multilayers of voices and instruments.
I love it, but what happens at the end?.
