OK, I read my pervious comments and after another listen I'll be a bit more specific. Daniel has it right about the Mellencamp reference. It does feel that way, but I guess what I felt disconnected by was the vocal performance. There's some passion missing from the performance and I guess I would like to have heard more grit in the vocals. Good luck, guys!

I hear a late 80's Mellencamp vibe here that's pretty cool.

Catchy tune, but I feel a bit disconnected from the song itself. The performances are great and so is the production. Maybe I just don't sense any dynamics in the song. Yes, there are change-ups and such, but I can't put my finger on it.
