I generally describe my music as "Lyric Driven Roots Rock with Soul." But this song specifically is more organic and raw in it's vibe and production. It's a very stripped vocal centered song. It was recorded live in the studio with all the musicians and myself playing at the same time and you can definitely feel that in the tack. It's a "you can't take it with you when you go" theme. The end of the chorus lyrics sums it up: "Aint nothing last forever except our love and our souls."
