Darren, when I listen to this song, it reminds me of the old school soul joints from the 60s and 70s....when soul music was used to take a stand for those who had no one to speak up for them....like Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues" and ESPECIALLY Donny Hathaway's "The Ghetto"....like I said before, this song is the essence of true Soul music....love it...you took it up a notch and added a new school vibe...Love it! Great Song!

Your song Ghetto is perfect. It embodies the essence of soul. Your voice enbrace the feelings of the lyrics you are singing about. there are many people (myself included) that went thru that. and songs like that make you proud of where you come from becuz its those sights, sounds, and struggles that truly shape our lives to help us be the best artists, dancers, actors, and anything else that we choose to be.
