This song was originally written for the movie remake of "EASY RIDER" . It was supposed to be a happy up-tempo POT smoking song (i.e.Don't Bogart that joint" from the original movie)..but as I wrote it it became a heavy lyrical story of drug addiction but yet has a anti- drug message. It has become a favorite with my peers and friends. For some reason the unsettling lyric along with the soft melody is a comfort to listen to. I don't know why that is.
