All That Is Human
by 1.618:Films
"All That Is Human" explores the nature of humanity and human
sexuality in a desolate and isolated future where interaction is
mediated entirely through cyberspace and the definitions and the very
nature of human instincts are lost.

The film was shot over 4 nights. The costume designing and most of the design of the look of the film was done before we started shooting. Everything in production and post-production was done within the constraints of the CMF time limit.
The only thing that we did before the CMF week started was get our crew together and start thinking really hard about how we'd pull it off
Thank you so much, again, from all of us.
my only complaint is that this does not seem like you put it together in the 5 days or so you get in CMF to make the movie (including editing). i mean seriously, this movie was just too elaborate to be done a day or two. i mean c'mon you had actual costume designers what the?! and the set? how did you pull that off? lol...but yea if you actually did pull that movie off with that small amount of time..that makes the movie even more amazing. AWESOME JOB, you're going places
In regards to the ending, I think it's more evident in the long version, yes, but I think also that the intention was to leave the film right on the brink of his possible change. The choice is his now, as it is the audience's, whether or not to leave, to venture out into the darkness, the wind and the rain, to be alone. Or, he can simply stay comfortable and warm and maintain the status quo. It's not important which he chooses so much as that by the end of the story he has begun to realize that it's not by the female character staying with him and being "intimate" that he will solve his problems, though he wants it so desperately. The key to him finding out what's wrong with him is not her. She is not his solution, and he is certainly not hers. His solution must be found outside, in the dark.
So, will he change? That's the real point at the end, it's supposed to be more of a question and a muted ending than a definitive bang of an ending.
Again, thank you so much for your criticism and commendations.
We were dissappointed at the Atlanta regionals this year, but every year the competition gets stiffer. That's good for film in general and that's what should make us happiest.
These Team Leader's #1 favorite from this entire festival.
it was our mistake to try to compress it. hence, we made the effort to make the long version after all. it's true to the story and easier to understand + enjoy!
by the way, if people are interested in sharing ideas and projects, let's talk outside this damn website!
