A very nice Hawaiian-influenced steel guitar intro- (sounds like a Weissenborn?), and a low key string arrangment back up a nicely written song of mature regrets and emotions set to an old style Country-ish tune.
George Jones would have made a hit of this, Don's voice is not quite in that class, but he delivers the song effectively nonetheless.
