I had a gig in New Orleans a few years back. We played in a coffee house, but then after that we went down to the French Quarter and ended up in a piano bar. Some kind patrons bought the band drinks...round after round. At the end of the night I realized I’d had too much vodka in my cranberry juice. This song is about how I felt the next morning. My mom loves this song, but doesn't want to know which parts are true and which are made up...which works out great, since I don't want to tell her.
