I'll remember you(uptempo version)

Currently 7th in Acoustic
This is an uptempo version of a slow ballad I wrote after losing my Father. Basically I used this song to tell him how I feel and will always feel. The intro is borrowed from an old Gospel song that we used to sing together.

Phil: This is a very beautiful song, I can relate to, cause I lost my father, and miss the times we used to talk. Hope to hear this playing soon on the radio, and love the uptempo.

In the days of Gordon Lightfoot it would have been called folk.
In fact if it turned up on a GL album I would not be surprised- although I would be impressed by the increased melodic sophistication that Gordon had learned.
Great fingerpicking, nice lyrics, excellent melody and structure, and a top-class vocal performance.
