This song is actually the first two tracks of a concept album that is currently in the works. The lyrics are from the epic poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge sharing the same name as the song. The poem is written in seven parts, which means we'll be writing a song for each part. The poem deals with many different ideas and subject matter including the triumph of nature over man, loneliness and desperation.
