The song stands up live for two reasons: it contains a mounting emotion that you release with soulful honesty, AND while listening to this the viewer gets to watch a rugged guy given in to a tender emotion -almost desperate-. The contrasts favor your strengths. Would love to hear this song with a bigger production, back up singers, string section...or not. My wife and I both enjoyed the video a great deal.
