I like it too. The sneaky sax, the delicate touch of funky guitar, and the smiling desperation of the story, it's all beautifully done.
Then there's the 'French voice on the phone' trick.
Brilliant. This crosses the line between being a good song into the much harder to achieve- a great record!

Isn't it hard to meet someone in a bar? I never found anyone remotely close, especially when packing up the gear.
