About Relentlezz

Waldorf, MD

Relentlezz began writing and laying his rhymes in 1998. Upon crafting and polishing his skillset, Relentlezz Dre recorded his first studio track 2001 at Horizon Studios in Maryland. From there, Relentlezz would set out on his own and began an association with City Vibe Recordings in late 2001 and 2002. To promote himself, Relentlezz would press up and distribute more than 500 singles in MD & DC for promotional purposes. In the summer of 2002, he collaborated with De’Aticus (Uprize Entertainment) on a track called “Every Uprise, There’s A Downfall” (still unreleased). Due to creative differences, he decided to split from City Vibe Recordings and began his search for a new recording home. During his search, he attracted the attention of Skinny Corleone and 48th/49th Records and signed a recording agreement. His debut album, “The Rel One”, was released in August 2005 which sold 3,000 copies via online promotion. He also shot his first video for the lead single titled “4 Ever (King of Maryland)” which received substantial airplay on BET Uncut.
After a short hiatus, he returned in 2007 with his first installment of his mixtape series “Yeah I’m Relentlezz” (Volume 1) which several thousand units were pushed. In 2008, the second installment of his mixtape series “Yeah I’m Relentlezz” (Volume 2) was released with a dedication and focus on lyricism which garnered him a nomination at the DMV Awards. 2010 saw the release of the third installment of the mixtape series “Yeah I’m Relentlezz” (Volume 3). Relentlezz is currently in the studio working on his follow up album “Tyranny.”

Relentlezz Dre has amassed incredible career stats, including nominations for:

2003 Best Hip-Hop Artist – Urban Independent Music Awards
2009 Artist Most Likely to Succeed – 3rd Annual DMV Music Awards
2010 Best Hip-Hop Artist & Best Mixtape “Yeah Im Relentlezz” (Volume 2) – 4th Annual DMV Music Awards
2011 Best Male MD Hip-Hop Artist – 5th Annual DMV Music Awards

Relentlezz’ regional song “MD, DC, VA” cracked the Top 10 charts on the online Internet Music Chart in the Hip Hop Genre in 2003-2004. He has toured and performed alongside Bone Thugs n Harmony, Tank, Northern Lights and Tabi Bonney. He has been featured on numerous albums, mixtapes and remixes with the likes of Mo Thugs Thin C and Dub B, Krayzie Bone (including an unreleased original track with Krayzie Bone), DJ P Cutta and K-Mont and Caine from Krayzie Bone’s label The Life Entertainment.
