I'm katyy
I'm 15
I like all kinds of music,but i favor songs more then i do genres.
I occasionally write songs.
I would love to start my own band or make my own music, even though i'm not to fond of my own voice,although others disagree with me.
I just need to teach myself to play some musical instruments =D.
So, hopefully soon I will have some music for you guys to listen to soon.

Story of a Cutter, (Part 1)

It skims across the top of my skin.
A bubble swells up from underneath.
A beautiful. Rich crimson color.
The tingling starts to take hold of my body.
My nerves are used to this daily routine.
bringing me back to sanity.

The blood drips from my wrists.(and sometimes from my hips)
Walls,windows, the world washes away beneath me.
A silent pain, a sting of reassurance.
To tell me that I am real.
This is real.
Everything pitch white, as I fall to my knees.

Sweatshirts, bracelets, pants,
all hide the art I carve into my skin.
I’m trying to stop. I have to stop.
But, the knives always seem to win.

Yeah, I know all about being shy about it, lol, everyone who make music or performs anything does, at first, but believe me, the more you do it, the quicker it passes. Never let being shy dissuade you from doing what you love, just try and accept that there will be some who don't like your stuff, but guaranteed, there will always be just as many who do, so it works. Hang in there! Believe in yourself and theres nothing you cant accomplish!

Hey again Katyy, Read your song lyrics today, you are really gifted with your words, from the heart, torn from your soul..... Keep writing , keep singing, practice guitar like we talked about, and then in time, start recording, as your can learn a lot by listening to yourself, listen to others, find your own style.... Hi K. Thanks for the reply. It's going good. You telling me that you're not instrumentally talented sounds very familiar to me. I think it all the time. But first know that ANYONE can play an instrument, so you have that part covered. It's your passion and love for music, along with being able to express your emotion musically that will determine how good you are. Being technically inclined helps, but doesn't determine shit. Not at all. I don't know shit, and sometimes I don't know what the hell I am doing, but if I like it, I like it. And I do.

Some of the finest musicians are very sterile and blah! Then you got some who just pour out feelings who aren't the best players technically. Those are the ones who go places. The technical ones become engineers or hired studio musicians.

So do what ever you want to do. Because you can! No rules, no limitations. Hell, breaking the rules is what makes music stay alive and keeps it changing. It's what makes the greats great! But at least learn some of the rules, so you know which ones you are breaking. lol. You can do any and everything that you wanna do, and it's not hard at all! When it comes to music, nothing is impossible for anyone.

The world is your oyster, my pearl. Promise.
