Hi, My name is Yvonne J I was born in Dundee, North East Scotland. I live in Tucson Arizona now. I have been a professional singer/Songwriter since age 16. A group from Leeds ( via The West Indies ) heard me sing and that was the start of a lifelong career. Travelled and performed extensively throughout the UK, Europe and the USA.
I do studio work now some session some giging. Im learning my way around the Yamaha motif es. Love to write songs day/night.24/7. I play guitar and piano only by ear, but I make my way around them. My biggest regret is being around musicians all my life and never mastering any instruments I love to coach children in Voice and Vocal Dynamics.

It took a lot of years performing to hone my craft and the art of commanding your audience. Supported Billy Ocean, Eddie Kendricks, Bill Fredricks, Rolls Royce and numerous British Stars. Did a lot of TV work in UK and Spain. Featured performer in a pilot show for STV which spun into a 7 show series aired on all major British/Irish networks. Guest appearances on many other Entertainers TV shows.

I am the proud Mum of Lee and Anthony I have Been married forever to Tony J who has supported my career 100%.

For 7 years I was the Entertainment Specialist/Coordinator for the entire Mediterranean Region while living in Spain. Providing entertainement to the US Troops and families stationed overseas. Produced thousands of tours throughout the med for USO/DOD. I sing mainly Soul/R&B/Jazz/Gospel, have Covered thousands in an over three decade career. very interested in Nujazz and Neo Soul. I love Reggae!
