Yung Legend is definitely from the dirty, dirty south he's been performing since the age of 11 when he wrote his 1st song "Life". He was introduced to the studio at a young age because his mother owned a recording studio on Little Rock, Ark. Yung Legend’s music is usually based on true stories or things that he really thinks is worth talking about or basically has a great meaning to it. But young Yung Legend’s career took a pause until he hooked up with his friend Lamar "L-Facta" Dukes to form the group "Hoodlum Boyz". They produced there first album "Life Of A Hoodlum" before Yung Legend was 16, but it was really for fun the young rapper wasn’t really taking it serious at the time, until he started getting feedback from friends and people around that he was really good and he should really try to make something out of it. So Yung Legend & L-Facta (Hoodlum Boyz) started performing and the CD was getting around there city but things didn’t really workout as planned. So in late 2006, then 17yrs old, Yung Legend went solo and collaborated with "Micah Jones" who helped Yung Legend produce is first solo album "Prince Of My City" which sold over 5,000 copies featuring the hit single "Dats My Swagg", which rocked throughout the streets.. But it wasn't until Legend Dropped his "Im Not Conceited, Im Just Convinced Mixtape" with hit single "Get Off My Dougie" in 2008/09 at the age of 19 he started getting recognized throughout the whole state and south. Opening up for big names such as Yung La, Yo Gotti, Big Tuck, Gorilla Zoe, and Nakia Shine. Legend Now being deemed The King Of his City, has caught the eyes of a couple record labels, but has yet to be offered. So as of now Yung Legend is in School(college) majoring in Business. Working with key producers overtime, doing shows, networking, pushing his music, and running his new Label "Ultimate Grind Records", he's really pursuing his dream which is to get a major record deal and become one of the next best rappers in the game. The journey of a Thousand miles begins with a single step and Yung Legend is stepping!!
