Southside rapper Young Rippa discovered his passion for music in his early teenage years. Born Cortez Rainey, on July 21, 1988, in Huntsville, Alabama, Young Rippa grew up in the Terry Heights area with his mind set on one thing, reaching to the top of the hip hop empire. Continuously he chased his dream throughout his daily faced obstacles and day to day stress until he got on his feet. Mix tape after mix tape Rippa continued to grind his music leading him into the creation of Street Made Entertainment along with Ten Stylez. After many controversial situations he had with previous groups it was the break Rippa needed for the road to success. Instantly Street Made released Huntsville to Cleveland, the first mix tape of the label, which moved the city. The buzz gained them shows every week which began to boost the name, 3 months later Rippa released Live from Barbara Dr.2, his first solo mix tape as a Street Made member. BD2 topped Live from Barbara Dr. giving Rippa all respect as a solo artist. Now the 20 year old has returned with the final Live from Barbara Dr. (BD3), which released early December.With Rippa The Great 2 droppin Feb. 6 and Rippa The Great 3 droppin Feb. 27 Rippa is now where he wants to be, focused on what seems liked the impossible, he refuses to quit until his mission is complete.
