Devon 'Young Hundred' is the musical dynamo behind the sound of Thank You and Goodnight. He learned to play the clarinet when he was 10 years old, then moved on to the saxophone when he was 12. In his late teens, he taught himself to play piano and began to play at local churches. He has studied privately with many of the top musicians in the country including Julliard graduate Dr. Diron Holloway of Florida A&M University and Dr. Jonathan Nichol of Grand Valley State University. His talents and experiences extend well beyond that of your average producer as his musical influences range from his membership in FAMU’s “Marching 100” band and all the exuberance of the black college experience, to the soulful stylings of the gospel church songs he created as a church musician, all the way to the concert halls that he has performed in with Symphonic ensembles and as a solo musician. Devon apprenticed under the Detroit Producer known as Steviethunder.com and he makes up 1/2 of the group "Thank You and Goodnight" along with Chris Dickerson. He has produced for numerous local artists between Detroit and Grand Rapids and enjoys a somewhat legendary status among musicians in the area.
