January 2009

2009 is a year for Change in America! President-Elect Barack Obama will be installed as the 44th President of the United States on January 20, 2009 in Washington DC.

Many families are anticipating an upturn in the economy by 2010 with the tax cuts that President-Elect Obama plans to implement. As usual, many single heads of households have spent more than they should on Christmas gifts for their children. They now wait with bated breath for the arrival of the January bills that they will probably be unable to pay.

Those of us who still have jobs let us open our hearts and wallets by making contributions to Wordman in Athens’ suggested charities at Moiko. I am also supporting the American Junior Golf Association who provide funding for young people interested in golf who cannot afford to attend AJGA golf tournaments.

I am extremely excited to have been invited to compete in the SGA Costa Rica Golf Classic this year which will be held in Los Suenos, Costa Rica from January 22-24, 2009. I have been practising very hard and hope to play my very best in this tournament. I hope to tour the rain forest, meet some salseros and get a tan on the beach while I am there.

My resolution for 2009 is to get in tip top shape. I shall be drinking oolong tea twice a day, eating five to six small meals daily and exercising at least three times a week. My goal is to weigh 45-50 pounds less by the end of the year and to reduce my BMI to a healthy level.

I love to dance so I will be ordering an exercise DVD from Core Rhythms so I do not have an excuse when it is raining. I can dance to hott music instead of walking. All of the above combined with eight hours of sleep and six to eight glasses of water daily should add about ten more years to my life.

I will resume active judging by the end of January. I take this opportunity to wish everyone at Our Stage a healthy and prosperous New Year and I hope all your dreams come true for 2009!

Tell u the Truth

When i was young i use to make musik my own lyrics my first very song was “sailin seas”. that was created by me and my brother, that was when “3ShotsProductions” was just starting.

I always said to my self " imma be a star one day" as i listened 2 some christian rap cuz my mother is very religious..i made my mostly “urban” selected artist such as: Young Jeezy, pete pabloe, p.diddy,B.I.G,Tupac, etc. In My Younger Days

i alwasy told my self that i was goin 2 be it but then i heard the next artist “Kanye West” then he drew me in more as i started pickin up a pencil and paper at the age of 14-15.

as time goes by i got more drawn into the urban musik becuase the musik had catchy punchlines and metaphores,so Hip-Hop started getting interesting..hormones raging and everyone started rapin what i didnt know..so i started buying albums and mp3 downloads etc. just to hear more then i started watching there interviews,

i felt they were interesting so i started sitting in front of a mirror in a chair acting like the mirror was the t.v and i would play the interview and answer the question they asked the interviewee.

5 years later the company got a lot better and so did my skill..the company recognized it and asked me ta make songs for an up comming Mixtape for da Summer of 09!!

i was excited so i started right away and now…
