Wreck 1 is a burgeoning new MC with a mix of multisyllabalic lyricism, morbid humor, and a pinch of sarcastic consciousness who holds a mirror to society with puns and under the radar metaphors in his own brand of satirical hip hop. Being one of the first artists to really use the internet as a marketing tool, before Myspace and YouTube, Wreck1 began spreading the word through many different online message boards which linked him with other artists through out the world. This enabled Wreck1 to book and promote his own tour at the age of 18 through out the USA and Canada. During this time, Wreck1 has opened for artists such as Nas, KRS One, Pittsburgh Slim, and various members of Wu Tang. Wreck1 has also used the internet to release a free single online produced by the grammy award winning, Rocwilder, entitled "My DJ, Your Girlfriend", which has garnered more than 6,000 downloads. Now Wreck1 averages about 600 plays a day on myspace (with no bots) and hits come from all over the world from NY and LA to the UK and Japan. Wreck1's current debut EP, "Super Villain's Circus" is currently available for purchase all over the internet. Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster, and Amazon.com are among the many online vendors selling the EP. The EP was produced mostly by platinum selling producer, Mr. Porter. Mr. Porter is also known as Kon Artist of Eminem's platinum rap group D-12 and has produced hits for Eminem, D-12, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Pharoahe Monch, The Game and many more. Mr. Porter is also featured singing the chorus on the track "Ain't A Riddle".
