Woodfish entertains the crowd and leaves people wanting more. Woodfish has made name for themselves over the years as a world class high energy act and has opened for acts such as Foghat, Keller Williams, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, The Spin Doctors’ Chris Barron, Particle and Oteil & the Peacemakers (from the Allman Brothers) and more. Described by Ken Dashow of 104.3 as one of the New York areas best rock bands the music of Woodfish can be described as a rhythm driven combination of rock, funk, pop and jam music which provides audiences of all genres and ages with a fun intoxicating, exhilarating and entertaining musical experience. Woodfish's favorite description of their sound came from a fan who when aksed what Woodfish sounded like simply replied, "Woodfish sounds like The Red Hot Chili Peppers beating the crap out of the Dave Matthews Band, while The Blues Traveler stood there and watched".
