Wild Stone is a Rock/Alternative/Punk band that first started when founding members Ryan Haley and Ben Dickinson were talking about starting their own band in February 2007. Both influenced by the music of the 60's and 70's, they decided to start jamming and writing their own material. Since the drummers at their high school were already in bands they decided to write acoustic songs and do acoustic covers. Wild Stone is a Rock/Alternative/Punk band that first started when founding members Ryan Haley and Ben Dickinson were talking about starting their own band in February 2007. Both influenced by the music of the 60's and 70's, they decided to start jamming and writing their own material. Since the drummers at their high school were already in bands they decided to write acoustic songs and do acoustic covers. They kept this up until late July when Ryan asked a friend named Pat Lynch to play drums. A big fan of The Who and influenced by the same rock bands as Ryan and Ben, he said yes. A couple days later they had their first practice as a full band. By writing new songs and riffs Ryan, Ben, and Pat are bring back rock music that has meaning.
