Whiskey Labido formed in March 0f 2008. Out of the blue, Todd Burghduff decided to call his previous drummer, Dave Jones, to see if he wanted to get a project started. Little did he know, that a friend of his from high school, Jason King, had already been playing the bass and practicing with Dave and they all just clicked and the music started flowing. After about a month of practicing hard, they decided to look for a singer. One guy really stood out, his name is, Chris Allis. Todd and Chris met about 6 months prior to starting, “Whiskey Labido”. They actually met at the Highway 9 Casino in Lake Stevens, Wa. They just started talking to each other and really liked the way each other sang while doing Karaoke. After a few beers, Todd asked Chris if he’d like to sing for his band. Only problem was, Todd was in no band but was in the works of finding some musicians. So, they exchanged numbers anyways and Todd called Chris about 6 months later to tell Chris that his new band was looking for a singer. Chris jumped at the chance. Since then, “Whiskey Labido”, have played some shows locally, they have had three #1 songs at, sixtysecondhero.com and have been featured in their hometown newspaper, the Lake Stevens Journal, twice. With the line-up complete and the release of their new cd expected soon and the following they have already acquired this last year, “Whiskey Labido”, will be around a very long time!!
