Hi, we are Werty!!! Werty is a band of simple proportions from Prince George, Canada. There is one part Curtis Mayes, one part Dustin Steiniger, and one part "Backing". Curtis and Dustin are from the band "Solar Cubes". Curtis was once a rythym guitar player and a singer...that hasn't changed for Werty. Dustin was the drummer in Solar Cubes, but now he is the lead guitar player for Werty. The "backing" part of Werty is just drum loops and a recorded bass line (bass recorded by Dustin). Obviou...

Curtis and Dustin are from the band "Solar Cubes". Curtis was once a rythym guitar player and a singer...that hasn't changed for Werty. Obviously with only two people, every part can't be covered in a live situation...that's why there is the backing part. You may also be wondering where the name "Werty" came from...it is simply a nickname Curtis used to have...and it stuck with him. Enjoy :)
