Orsenna was formed in 2007 and are now based in Osaka Japan.

When French songwriter and occasional model Etienne Denoual met Graphic designer and bassist Koji Okamoto in an electrorave event in Japan’s cyberpunked city Osaka, they felt an immediate urge to collaborate and let the world know that they were up for a challenge!

Hastily recruiting the pair of guitar obsessed Morry and keyboardist Aya Tamaki, with the talented drummer Utah Iijima, Orsenna entered the studio and instantly recorded a 3 demos.

Heavily melding punk rythms with shoegaze influences and electrorock synth riffs,the first demo single Whatever/Im fine defines the band’s playful, consciously multifaceted,danceable sound.
