Watzlawick are a four-piece Post-Hardcore band based in Pisa, Italy. Their history is quite short so far, the project takes shape in January 2009; they spent first months setting up a compact and enthralling live set. Watzlawick are a four-piece Post-Hardcore band based in Pisa, Italy. Their history is quite short so far, the project takes shape in January 2009; they spent first months setting up a compact and enthralling live set. Filippo and Luca (bass and guitar) already played together for over 10 years, Vanni (drums) had different experiences with other bands, so did Luca (voice). From June 2009: over 20 gigs, several interviews on webzines and local radios, plenty of web-promotion and a minitour in Ireland. On January 1st, 2010 they released their first EP "Prologue", totally self-produced. Heedless of genre, they feel comfortable within everything that is called "Post". The Dreaded Press from England referred to Watzlawick as "epic and proggy post-metallers”.
