WA-LEE Rap Artist Born: September 8, 1983 Birth place: New Brunswick, NJ Name: Wali Sulton Lundy Wali was born to Joanne and Brian Lundy in the urban neighborhood of New Brunswick, NJ. Wali is the youngest of 4 boys. Through the course of Wali’s young life he has managed to evade death several times. The most recent being when he was only 12 years old and his life was threatened by scar tissue that had formed a blockage in his intestine. Wali’s life has been full off trials and adversity which makes since why he has decided to name his debut album “TESTING TIMES”. Wali stated in a recent interview that “My music come from all of my life experiences, it’s everything that I have ever been through put into rhyme”. Wali also stated that he also decided that dedicate his album to his late mother Joanne and his brother Shaheed Lundy both of whom have passed away. When asked who he would compare himself to as an artist, Wali stated "Some might say I’m a cross between Lupe, Kanye, Jay Z, and Nas but I would like to say i have my own sound.. Wali also added "I don’t want to be like them those are just a few of the artist that inspirer me. Wali started rapping at the young age of 10 and has been in love with music ever since.
