Hailing from Stoke On Trent, Undiscovered Soul are a rock band who have been through more in a year then most bands go through in a lifetime! A band who refuse to admit when there beaten and whose passion for music drive them on! Formed in February 2010, the band have had numerous line-up changes. People have come on gone, but the drive to succeed has remained unchanged.
Despite only starting in February 2010, the band were gigging by May and hit the road with a rigorous schedule, including opening for highly successful Crewe act Sgt. Wolfbanger for only their 2nd gig. As months passed by the band continued to gig at several venues across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Yorkshire, building a solid fanbase along the way.
In September 2010 the band finally had reward for all their hard-work when they were hand-picked to support The Union at the 02 in Sheffield (for those unlucky enough not to have encountered them yet, a new, soon to be massive, band formed by Luke Morley, of Thunder fame). Ever since Undiscovered Soul, not a band to rest on their laurels, have gone from strength to strength. With a fanbase now spreading across the UK the band are recording an EP at the end of year to be released on January 7th 2011 and will commence a UK tour in January.
Formed in early 2010 the Undiscovered Soul story is a fascinating one! 6 months since the band was formed, the band have enjoyed some early successes with some high profile gigs, and good local media coverage.
Despite this, there has been a lot of comings and going as the band have fought for a stable lineup, but as a lot of new bands discover its not always that easy, with a lot of comings and goings. The band has changed a lot since its formation, the only constants being guitarists Dave Kent and Marcus Pezzaioli.
The band have now turned a corner, and are back to doing what they do best - making music. With a solid schedule taking the band until the end of the year, the band are also working on new materiel.
