(?)INTERVIEWER: Wow! Songwriter, singer, and producer! So Terrence, theres no doubt that music lives in your heart and spirit. Your a very soulful artist you hear it all through your voice and you really connect emotionally with your audience. I have to ask how old were you when you first fell in love with music? (!)TERRENCE: Uh I believe it was at the young impressionable age of 6 or 7. Man...I'm a 80's kid and anyone who grew up in that era with a musical ear would know the 80's was the shit! I loved cartoons and watched a lot of sitcoms growing up. I still do actually. The 80's was such a "creative turning point" as far as music in our culture. I would sing all my favorite theme songs from those shows. It was just a lot of fun and I loved to do it. I remember running home from school, dropping my backpack, turning on the TV and trying to catch whatever show was coming on at that time. The ones that really stick out the most I believe were The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Gummy Bears ha-ha! It was when I was 14 that I discovered I could really sing. My first song I learned was A Whole New World from the Disney movie Aladdin. It was there I realized that I had a driven passion for things that struck my heart and soul. (?)INTERVIEWER: So where are your roots, your background, everyone wants to know, where are you from? (!)TERRENCE: Well where do I start Man Im a traveler. I was born in a small town in North Carolina call Goldsboro. We moved to Southeast Washington D.C. when I was 3 and we lived there for about 10 years. When I was 11 or 12 we moved again because our living situation got so dangerous I witness surreal crimes, brutality, not mention drug and gang infestation ran rapid. Southeast D.C. was no joke man! I grew up in Manassas Virginia until I was 21, so I consider VA my home, thats where I spent my teenage to adult years. I then built up enough nerve to anchor my dreams by becoming a more well rounded artist so I walked out of my comfort zone and moved to WinterPark Florida learning and crafting audio engineering at one of the best schools on the east coast "Full Sail" Real World Education www.fullsail.com I now reside in V-town Valdosta Georgia 3 hours from the A-town AKA the"Black Hollywood!" living my music, grinding, and just following my dreams... (?)INTERVIEWER: In the competitive genre of Rhythm & Blues youve got a lot of competition. Tell me what is Terrence-Tyrell going to bring to the game to set his self apart from his superstar counterparts? (!)TERRENCE: Just raw realness that you only get coming up from the very bowels of lifes physical, mental, and emotional trials and tribulations. Creative writing from experiences, introspects, and episodes. Explosive Soul and Hip-Hop, for your slow grind, two-step, and tear it up with some crunk dance.
