Imagine living in a small farming community where the only things to do are hardly what "Ma and Pa" would agree with. Where corn fields are our oceans, and factory smoke are our clouds. Seven kids hungry to make something more of it join together. Twenty-Nine Needles consisted originally of former mebmers from Forged in Blood, Internal Issues, and Social Coma. As most bands start out, Chewky, Travys Lanning, Bob Hart, and Brad Simpson were just a few jam buddies looking to make something out of all the time given in their small, small, town of Dekalb, Illinois. After realizing what potential of taking things more seriously would do, Jason "4head" Warner was added to the equation as a composer/synthesizer along with vocalists Ryan Rood and Jason Kain. In the few months to follow, Brad stepped down from his duties of bass and left the band. Trial and error lead to the realization that they undoubtedly needed someone to fill the spot. At which point Tim Marchewka, former bassist of Internal Issues was introduced. Shortly after, Jason Kain left for personal reasons for his own better being as well as the band. After what seemed to be endless tryouts, and a few could-have-beens, Twenty-Nine Needles welcomes vocalist and frontman Brian "Brain" Barry. With a voice that shattered all, Twenty-Nine Needles decided to end their search for vocalists' 30 seconds into the audition. Now as the writing of the 2007 EP continues, Twenty-Needles aspires to tour, meet a ton of new fans and friends, hang out and have fun, and make something talented come out of what seems to be a hopeless, dead-end place in the Midwest.How our name came to be:If you can figure it out you might get a little FREE gift from us :o)
