T-Soak
With extensive touring, recording, and producing backgrounds in the music genres of Jazz, Rock, Funk, and Gospel, The Sons of a King are here!!
The band was formed in the fall of '07 by renowned saxophonist and keyboardist Michael Carter. Carter is a known favorite throughout the Pacific Northwest in the Gospel and Jazz circuits.
By circumstance, Carter was introduced to Funk and Rock drummer Jeffrey "Shadow" Haile, formerly of the band Munkeez Strikin' Matchiz. Carter insisted that they trade music and numbers and get together and kick some grooves. Haile, new to the Pacific Northwest, was looking for a musical outlet; little did he know that he was about to embark on the musical journey that he was searching for all of his life.
Carter had been looking for a keyboardist that not only could hold his own, but one who shares the band's philosophies on religion and Christian values?enter Robert Washington. Washington comes to T-Soak from Memphis Tennessee. With a vast background in Gospel as well as Jazz music, Washington became the glue that holds this ensemble together.
T-Soak is currently recording their debut CD, "A Journey to the Kingdom." Although the sound is Jazz, it's all about God and the band's fierce dedication to Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.
