Brand new Canadian artist / song writer. Born in Windsor Ontario, Canada on 06-19-1983, Samantha Ann Lewis. Accountant and mother by day, hip hop artist and label manager by night. She manages all aspects of the Indie label, Ice Cold Entertainment Group also known as ICEg along side her fiancé Nykle. Although new to being an artist, she has been writing since the age of 9. Like many other rappers, she grew up in a rough neighbourhood known as Drouillard. She spent much of her time, writing all her problems down on paper. Then a friend managed to read some of her writing and she introduced Samantha to writing poetry. She quickly fell in love with it and couldn’t write enough. There was a fire burning inside her, and poetry made is so easy to vent. She participated in music lessons throughout grade school and high school, but didn’t follow through at that time, although she continued to write and practice, no matter what anyone said she knew one day she’d get to live her dream. In 2008, She rekindiled a relationship with an old friend Brett Avery, also know as Nykle, they had so much in common and they clicked right away. Then one day out of nowhere, she just broke through being shy and let him hear her voice and he loved it. Then she told him she had been writing for years, and showed him some of her work. He was surprised and encouraged her to write more, and one day she told him she thought she had written a whole song, he looked at it and said… “That’s thirty one bars…. Oh My God, there’s even a punch line!” He set up the studio and showed her a few beats. Next thing you know she was on the mic, and that’s how the track “Drama” came to be. This was the beginning of her career as an artist. Now she writes music everyday, and it’s become an important part of her life. She’s currently working on a mix tape called “Past, Present & Future.” Due to be released this year.
