TRIAXIS, is a heavy metal band, based in South Wales, UK, and were initially formed in March 2006. After a number of staff changes the band completed its current line up in April 2008. TRIAXIS, is a heavy metal band, based in South Wales, UK, and were initially formed in March 2006. After a number of staff changes the band completed its current line up in April 2008. Triaxis are a female fronted band that excel in the metal genre. All musicians are accomplished performers having learned their craft with numerous bands or as solo acts. The line up comprises of Krissie Vocals, CJ Rhythm guitar, Gav Lead guitar, Owen Bass and Giles Drums The band write their own material and perform some classic covers, showing their influence which range from Iron Maiden to Nightwish and Symphony X, from Lamb of God to Metallica and Judas Priest, from Whitesnake to Thunder and Queen. Currently self managed, the band have recently acheived number one in the Wildplum.co.uk chart, are number one in the Heavy Metal charts at unsigned.co.uk and have myspace and facebook groups where fans can be kept up to date with all things Triaxis. The band are currently writing the final tracks to their forthcoming album and are finalising the artwork. They are hoping to launch the album independently sometime during March 2009. They are also enjoying airplay on local radio and internet radio stations in the UK, Pirate Radio in the LA Bay area and Ohio on The Rock Show, which is also streamed in New Zealand and will soon be available in Australia. The three tracks that make up the current Triaxis EP are available for download from iTunes music store UK, USA and Australia. Triaxis are five dedicated individuals who love metal and love performing and hope that this comes across in their recorded music and live performances.
