Latest CD Shows Listeners they are not alone in their struggles

Atlanta-Assembly of God pastor, Kelly Shannon releases her latest CD Rescue Me. It is her personal testimonial of past struggles. She collaborates with some of the heavyweights in the gospel music industry. On Rescue Me, Shannon partnered with Rev. Wayne Tate, minister of Manna Church in Fayetteville , NC . Her band consists of Mark Burchfield, Dave Cleveland, Tony Morra, and Sal Oliveri.

Being a product of a troubled youth and the mother of a special needs child, Shannon relates to the everyday man and woman with her music. She has struggled in life and through Rescue Me she shows the listener that she understands his/her pain because she has been there.

This naturally gifted singer, who ministers’ through music, is a self-taught musician who never sits down to write a song. She finds musical inspiration through prayer. Shannon said, “When I am in my prayer closet the words of song just flows out of me.”

Kelly Shannon has a large fan-base nationally and internationally that has been touched by her anointing. As Rev. Jacqui Strothoff, director of In His Presence Ministries states, “Lyrics of her songs are release like arrows aiming for the centers of our hearts, piercing with love and transforming us by the power of His Holy Spirit.”
