Artist Bio: When Nashville's Sony Music President Roy Waunch first heard Tommy Gardner's music he was just 10 years old. When Roy's good friend Marty Erlichman (Barbara Streisand's manager) stopped by Roy asked Marty to sit down and listen. Marty was so taken with Tommy's voice that he took a tape back to Hollywood that night and handed it to his good friend Sam Riddle (Star Search Producer). Tommy Gardner went on to win Star Search Junior Vocalist Grand Champion for 1991 beating out several notables, including Justin Timberlake. After winning Star Search Tommy returned to Nashville and school. He continued recording while going to school. His voice has been heard on hundreds of TV and radio commercials. He can be seen in numerous Country Music Videos on CMT performing with top Country Music Stars. He provided vocals as a session singer for many artists including grammy winning Christian recordings. After his second year of college, Tommy took time out to serve as a Spanish speaking missionary for 2 years traveling out west for Spanish speaking Native Americans and Latino immigrants. After his mission was served he attended UT, MTSU and eventually University of Miami where he graduated with a degree in Music Business Management in 2009. Tommy's vocal diversity is second to none. He can sing Country, Pop, R & B and Rock equally well. While attending college in Miami he put his Spanish language expertize to work and was soon being heard singing on the local Latino radio stations and performing on Latino TV as well. He is doing song demo's for writers in all genres of music and also enjoys assisting country music writers who want to hear their songs in Spanish, a trend that is rapidly growing. He just recently moved back to Nashville Tennessee and is writing music and preparing to devote his full efforts toward making music and recording.
