About Tom Bolton

Portrait of Tom Bolton

Tom Bolton’s music has possibly been influenced by everything he’s ever heard, even if he wasn’t paying attention. After thirty or so years writing songs, he finally put together an album of original tracks in 2003, called “Acoustic Caravan”.

His second album “When I Cross the River” came along in 2007, recorded by Jeremy P Martin with a diverse collection of musicians adding various threads of sound around the core of vocals, acoustic guitar and Richard Grace’s acoustic double-bass. Rambles review of “When I Cross the River”

His third album is currently being produced by Nick Charles, and all being well, should be ready early in 2010. It’ll be called “Dreaming and Dancing”.

“Tom Bolton has a talent for beautiful and interesting music with a melancholic flair.” Wildy Haskell – Wildy’s World

“Tom Bolton crafts folk-influenced songs with real wit and intelligence” Anna Maria Stjärnell – Luna Kafe

“It grabs you before your intellect has a chance to kick in with its jaded analysis and sends you on a wave of daydreams.” Ighuaran – Music Zeitgeist
