August 12th, 2009 @ HAHA Night Club, located @ 163 West 46 St, New York, NY • 20 spots available • The last Artist standing will be prominently featured on DJ Whoo Kid Upcoming Mixtape • The last Artist standing will have his/her music promoted on DJ Whoo Kid Radio Show • The last Artist standing will be prominently featured on The 5th Edition of FientOut TV DVD • The last Artist standing will hold a position in the 20 City Tour that will follow the competition • The last Artist standing will have the opportunity to get a record deal. • BookEveryBody.com is donating $350.00 (CASH) to the Last Artist Standing.
THE RULES
To register for the competition contact the offices of BookEveryBody.com directly at 240-210-1901 or by email @ bookeverybody@gmail.com. Registration is limited to 20 acts per city. It is not 1st come, 1st serve. Upon registration, artists get 10 tickets to the event priced at $10 each - artists can sell these tickets to their fans to come out and support them in the competition, or give them away to family or friends. Registered artists also receive show fliers, a contract agreement for the event, and an official form listing what they are being judged on. Each artists gets to perform 2 songs or 6 minutes long Judged on: Song creativity, use of original beats, stage presence, appearance, lyrics, flow, sound quality, whether or not they brought promotional materials to the event, use of props, crowd interaction, crowd reaction, and mic control, among others.
