Hey everyone. I’m Tim Kropa. I come from a town just outside of the city of Scranton (famous for the tv series “The Office”), called Clarks Summit. I’ve been playing guitar and writing songs for the last five years or so, and have only ever dreamed of having the chance to play for, with, or in the same town as John Mayer. He is my ultimate influence to want to be a musician. The hardest part about wanting to be a musician coming out of Clarks Summit, PA, is that there isn’t anyone here who wants to take you seriously. People play music for fun around here, and it’s usually scream-o or ska or some other type of noise. I play a lot of acoustic music, and I can honestly say im a fairly descent electric guitarist as well. I write my own songs, and occasionally cover a John Mayer song here and there. If you are looking at my profile to judge it for this competition, please consider me. I’ve been dreaming for an opportunity like this. It would mean the world to me.
