"If you want the music industry to put out better artists that bring forth good music, you have to support it. Record companies aren't smart. They sell what you buy. So buy the things that you want them to sell. That's how this game works. Don't complain about the radio if you won't buy the songs that haven't made it to the radio yet. It's not rocket science. The consumer controls the industry. Case in point: Beyonce' (of whom I love and adore) won't sit down and take a break because we keep buying her music and blowing up her videos on YouTube. So why should she stop?? She has fans! If you ever want any particular artist to go away, all you have to do is stop buying their music. If you ever want an artist to be heard around the world, all you have to do is start buying their music. Simple as that. No artist is successful on their on. Like I always say, try going platinum without the help of a million people..." ~Ms. Scott
Artist Bio:
Tiffany Scott™ isn’t the type of artist to wait on the sidelines for someone else to step up to the plate and make things happen. She doesn’t have to wait on studio time, wait for someone to write her a song, sift through tracks from countless producers or search the world for talented choreographers. There’s not much that this young diva can’t do. Ms. Scott is a diva of promise. Her musical style stems from her interested in the genres of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pop, Classical, Funk, Latin, Reggae and the drums of West Africa. She is an instrumentalist that loves playing the piano, drums and percussions. She wrote her first song at age 6 and began composing and arranging instrumentals on professional studio equipment at age 13. “Tippa”, as she is affectionately called, is a mesmerizing dancer as well. She feels music just as much as she hears it. She prides herself on her universal style to perform popular dance styles in the likes of the North, West, Mid-West and the South. A born and raised GA Peach, she’s not at all your usual artist from the ATL. If you could mix the jazziness of Jill Scott, the arranging talent of Stevie Wonder, the stage energy of Janet Jackson, the lyrically ability of Lauryn Hill and the ethnic drum ability of Shelia E. into one artist, you may come up with a result that equals Tiffany Scott™. Her appearance is nothing less that striking. When she walks into a room, she commands attention immediately. But rightfully so- she has the legs of a dancer, the shoulders and arms of an athlete, the shape of a marble medieval statue, Cherokee honey-brown eyes and a smile that can soften the hearts of 1000 men. The anointing in her presence is unmistakable and the smooth texture of her voice is nothing short of the soothing tone of an alto saxophone. She attended Tri-Cities High School of Visual and Performing Arts in East Point, GA and then obtained both Theatre Arts and Computer Science degrees from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She took interest in the fitness world at the mega fitness club Crunch Fitness – Buckhead. She enjoys being a featured instructor at Gold’s Gym-Sandy Springs in the areas of kickboxing and hip-hop dance. She’s done musical arrangements for Toney Freeman, who placed high in the 2006 Mr. Olympia competition. She was chosen to be a personal trainer to Brittany Swann, 2007 Miss Georgia USA. But beyond all of the fun that she is having as an artist and fitness extraordinaire, she’s a serious business woman. She owns Noniology, Ynaffit Graphix and of course her investments in her latest musical release – The Enlightenment. She is a co-producer for The Undaground Shoppe Productions, along with her big brother, Derryin Pinkston. She comes from generations of musical talent and you can expect to see her worldwide success very soon. Just one of the best responses I've ever gotten to "I AM"
From Coola:
Peace Queen,
Thanx 4 the connect. I have to give it 2 U straight, musically you’re a whole diffrent type of animal. As wild as “I Am” can be, you seem to know jest what it takes to keep a persons attension. I’m not a big techno fan, but jest when I’m saying to myself, “that’s enough,” in come the horns in the right place at the right time. It get’s wild again, but only now I’m interested. Curious as to where your gonna take it next, then before you know it that phunky ass bass line takes over. Like silent murder ya heardz me..; I know ya heard me. The electric guitar is used perfectly, now I’m like I don’t know what the hell she doing but she doing it. The song is over and I’...
