Grew up in MD, went to L.A. for college. Music is my first passion…I love friends, family, nature, and the unexpected.

I started playing bass when a couple friends and I started Red Eyed Five in high school. I started singing when my mom made my sister and I sing Madonna along to cassette tapes in our living room. I was further trained by Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and Rufus Wainwright when I turned 16 and could sing along in my car without anyone listening. I learned a few chords on an old classical guitar and played Van Morrison’s Caravan at every party in high school. I started writing songs in college after about 17 years of hopeless crushes. I started playing a little more guitar every day, and started writing more songs as we formed the band Dayplayer. As I became more and more comfortable playing acoustic shows, I started recording some of my solo stuff on Garageband, and eventually got a webcam to make videos. All of that, combined with lots of things to say and my hunger for attention, leads us here. Thanks for your support!
