The Trousers began as jam sessions between drummer Mikey Carnevale and guitarist Elias Cruz-Zamora. Multiple lineup changes ensued, adding bassists, other guitarists, vocalists, until they landed on being a simple two man band, guitar, drums, vocals, under the name Libido. This worked for a while, but soon, they realized they needed another member. This worked for a while, but soon, they realized they needed another member. They found drummer Adam Lomnitzer, Mikey stepped away from the drums to play guitar (and the occasional keyboard) alongside Elias. More recently, they had to change their name due to some legalities concerning a peruvian band of the same name. They play locally as The Trousers as often as possible in the San Diego area.
