A tiny bit of background:
I began singing at a young age. By age 11 I was playing the saxaphone, and by 16 I was beginning to teach myself how to play the guitar. I have been writing in various forms since the sing song babblings of childhood.
I have been in various bands and projects performing everywhere from basements to coffeehouses, clubs and concert venues throughout Michigan and Ohio. Of course through all of this I wrote music... Lots of music .
The Trisha D. Project is my own personal experiment. What am I trying to prove? That we can connect through music. It is our common thread.
Currently wrapping up recording at Hundehutte Studios . A finished product should be available by Summer.
Co conspirators in The Trisha D. Project
Vinnie Detroit - bass
Jim Mobley - Drums
Walt "the Truck" Emerick - engineer and co - producer
and myself
Trisha D. - vocals and guitars
Influences: My influences are varied...From musicians inside my family who picked country and gospel on their front porch to Lorretta Lynn, Kansas, Heart, AC/DC, Etta James, The Supremes, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, George Jones and way to many others to possibly list. Basically anything that made me stop listen and dream.
