Fresh, new, and unsigned on the Detroit Rap scene, three young ladies determined to change the music game formed a group calling themselves the Switch Blades.While working on their first album the Switch Blades beat the Open Mic Night scene to deaf by sampling their music to the city of Detroit and Novi. With their unique overseas sound matched with hard knocking Nickel Slick produced tracks the Switch Blades drew fans from everywhere. No matter the background, male, female, young or old people were always wanting more. The group started back in February of 2006 when rapper Seneca Mack first did a track with Punk Rock singer Liah. After hearing more from Liah and seeing Fierce rap with her sassy flow, becoming a group just made sense. Their first paying gig was a Liberian Pagent where they rocked the show with Oprah and Showdown, two favorites among listeners. Since then it's been nothing but work to keep creating what the people want to hear. With enough songs for at least three albums the Switch Blades are focusing on the birth of their first album
