The Stretch is ready for the 12 hour road trip from Chicago to 10KLF. Fresh off of our Rothbury show a few weeks ago we are extremetly excited to be a part of 10KLF. From everything I hear 10KLF is in an awesome setting which creates a great vibe which we are excited to be a part of it. So while I should be working at my day job I’ve pretty much completely blown off the day getting ready for 10KLF and the weekend. In fact right now I am packing up with many tough decisions…do I bring Oberon or Fat Tire, or stop along the way and grab some New Glarus brew just across the Wisconsin border. (My boss just emailed me but my Out-Of-Office is already on so I am in the clear.) I just learned that our van is equipped with a DVD player so since I only own Anchorman, Best in Show, Family Guy movie, Meet the Parents, and dozens of Phish shows so I’d say we are going to be highly entertained. My only regret right now is that we can’t stick around too long at 10KLF as we have to head down to Deer Creak in Indianapolis to play a show on a side stage for the Dave Matthews Band. But if that is my only regret in life I’d say I’m doing pretty good. Anyway…since we are playing at noon (we are the only band playing at that time) hope everyone stays awake from the night before….rocks out to our show…and then goes to bed. See everyone on Thursday at noon at the OurStage Saloon.
Peace, Kevin Greene
