The Spins are an Electro-Pop band from Torino, Italy and created in April 2004 by Alessia Mattalia, the most well-known female drummer from Italy. ALESSIA MATTALIA Alessia is the most well-known italian female drummer. In her career stand out her years with pop band B-Nario, with whom opened Michael Jackson's concert at S. Siro Stadium in Milan (June 18th, 1997) and the whole european tour of Eros Ramazzotti in 1998. Alessia is also the only italian female drummer ever featured in the pages of US magazine MODERN DRUMMER (June 2001 issue). After having been voted by italian mag PERCUSSIONI readers as one of the 10 best female drummers in the world, Alessia has performed as headliner at Bag' Show 2004 (Lyon, France), Montluçon International Drums Festival 2005 (Montluçon, France) and Torino Drumming Festival 2007 (Torino, Italy), thus having the chance to share the stage with such artists as Carmine Appice, Thomas Lang and Walfredo Reyws Jr. If you like to know more about our stunning drummer please check out her space clicking HERE SHARON MAY LINN With her powerful black voice and her very charismatic performances, she became most wanted free-style vocalist since a decennia and she has been working with a huge number of world known house djs, throughout the best clubs, first in Italy and then also Ibiza, England, Poland and Germany...Soon coming up performances in Russia and other European countries. A lot of Sharon's releases came out in the last years but one of the summer 2005 big hits was for sure a track together with well known italian producer Alex Gaudino, Lil' Love with the song LITTLE LOVE. Back in 2003 she wrote the song DESTINATION UNKNOWN : it became a hit thanks to vocals by Crystal Waters; recently remixed by Gaudino as DESTINATION CALABRIA, now in top sales charts UK and France!!! MARCELLO GIORDANO The Spins' keyboardist and primary songwriter showed for the first time his talent in 1994, when his song I WISH YOU sold over 48.000 copies in Europe (Proprio Records). When Alessia Mattalia joined ArX, she and Marcello built a solid artistic team, which created not only The Spins' songs but the new set of electro-jazz songs as well that Alessia - with the live contribution of her bandmate - plays in her drum clinic european tour. MARIO PIGNATELLI If someone of you noticed a kind of resemblance with Toto's Steve Lukater, er... well you're right. Other than being one of the most powerful italian guitarist, Mario - as lead guitar of official Toto tribute band Candyman - is becoming more and more similar to the great original. In the near future we'll test if he can write something as fine as - for example - Hold The Line, we never refuse a good single!
