From a small, coastal town in South Texas, the Rankin Twins began their
singing career. Kinky blonde hair and matching smiles, these girls always drew a crowd. Back then, their audience was primarily family and friends, but then again, the twins were only 6 years old. 20 years later, the Rankin Twins continue to entertain as their passion for music and performing has intensified. They recently recorded a demo in Austin,Tx with friend Chris Hawkes and are preparing for an album within the next year. Influenced by The Judds, Madonna, and the Dixie Chicks.....most of their music is now self-written. Material isn't hard to come by. The Rankin Twins have lived in all 3 corners of Texas, have spent countless summers at the locally famous Frio River, and enjoyed "the college life" at Texas A&M University.

With contagious personalities and energy, The Rankin Twins "have never met a stranger". The support of friends, family and, of course, the new fans they meet, continues to inspire the twins to follow the dream that so many before them have abandoned. The Rankin Twins continue to write, sing, and perform at local venues throughout the great state of Texas.
