About The Phage

Portrait of The Phage
Three brothers recruit a drummer to take the throne and drive the creative energies of this genetically unstoppable force called The Phage!!!
In the summer of 2002 a single step was made toward the inevitable when the Kish brothers, Mike (Queen Bee), Pat, and Tim, stumbled upon the rhythmic stylings of percussionist Ben Moore (Remainder). This band's been producing hard-hitting, melodic rock for short attention spans, in and around the Detroit area ever since. While they have memorable hooks and up-beat kicks, The Phage's sound is hardly run-of-the-mill and has been compared to taking a breath of fresh air while stubbing your toe on a brick of solid gold.

Every member of The Phage shows a commitment to their craft when they explode onto a live stage, seemingly possessed by the energy of the song at hand. The attention of the audience members tends to be pleasantly ensnared by the mesmerizing antics and ever-changing modes of sound. Bombastic percussion, crunchy, ear splitting guitar, over-driven bass, three vocals up front, and a little synth to fill it all in, are some of the main components of this heart racing, lung vibrating, fiasco known as The Phage!

I don't agree with the last comment ..It seems to me that I hear influences of maybe...ok here's my scoop....ELO,System of a Down, and Queen? I love ELO and your music grabbed me because of this. The vocal part in the beginning reminded me of Mr. Blue Sky (elo). I do agree that you transition very well and have a great sound. Those transitions are what make me think of System of a Down and the guitar riffs reminded me of Queen. So anyway...you sound great and I added you as a friend so I can hear more of you. Keep Rockin and Peace Out
